Have questions about MBCT or Teacher Training?

    Schedule a Free Advising Session

If you are considering next steps in mindfulness facilitation or Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) teacher training, we invite you to schedule a free advising session.

These one-on-one conversations with Brown’s mindfulness faculty and staff are an opportunity to explore your interests, ask questions, and determine which training options may best align with your background and goals. There is no expectation or commitment to enroll.

Advising sessions may be helpful if you are:

    • Exploring whether the MBCT Teacher Training pathway is the right next step for you
    • Interested in bringing MBCT into clinical or professional practice
    • Considering the MBCT Foundations & Facilitator Training or Teacher Advancement Intensive (TAI) courses
    • Unsure how your background or professional experience aligns with MBCT teacher training
    • Deciding between MBCT and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher training
    • Looking for guidance on the sequence and timing of courses within the training pathway

Note: If you're primarily interested in taking an 8-week MBCT or Finding Peace in a Frantic World (FPFW) course, these sessions can also help you determine which program is the best fit.

Select the appointment time that works best for you and complete the form to register. All advising sessions take place virtually via Zoom, and all times are listed in Eastern Time (ET).

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us at execeducation@brown.edu
